Hi folks,
this is probably the last update to the 'Schoemig - Herald'. Thanks for following Skylar's Life on this website for the last years and thank you for staying in touch and your kind comments.
From now on though, please visit us on Facebook or I will still send the occassional YouTube Video.
Here are some pictures of our trip to Vegas last week.
We had a great time in Vegas flying in a helium balloon, watching a couple of shows, riding the roller coaster at New York, New York and of course I loved the buffets :-)
We took one trip from Vegas to tour the inside of Hoover Dam and then later that day to the Grand Canyon SkyWalk. We also took a trip to go skiing on Mt Charleston just a day after playing in the pool of the Bellagio.
We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and we wish all our friends and family a healthy and enjoyable Holiday Season.
We hope to stay in touch via FaceBook and thanks again for visiting the Schoemig-Herald for so many years :-)
November 5th
We hope you all had a great Halloween :-)
Here are some pictures of Skylar's latest little adventures. Sorry we don't update this site so often anymore, but you all are welcome to follow us on Facebook and YouTube.

Even though we've been back for over a week, we haven't found time to post the pictures of our mammoth road trip through Europe. We visited Shelly's folks in England for a few days first, then we flew to Paris, rented a Mini Van and did a 2200 Mile trip through France, Monaco, Italy, Austria and Germany.
Here are some pictures:

Sorry we haven't been in touch lately. We've been busier than at anytime in the past few years. We did a few short trips between the renovation of the new house and we just opened a new Skydiving business around the corner from us. Check us out at
www.SkydivePalmBeach.com
We found a tree farm just a couple of miles from our house, that actually had a registered airstrip on it and where the owners are letting us Skydive. The airstrip didn't have any power at all, so the business runs completely on solar power. Powering everything on solar was an exciting project
We've done just over 50 jumps in our first 30 days and we are enjoying being involved with skydiving again.
Here are some pictures of a true 'Fandango' Drop Zone :-) We are planning to open an additional location in 2011 with Frank from
www.SkydiveKeyWest.com in Long Island New York called

While we are still knee deep into remodel/construction work, we are starting to enjoy our new place. Shelly and I are still sleeping on a mattress, waiting for our bedroom and bathroom to be completed, but we can slowly see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Skylar is having a blast here, it's like a whole big adventure to her (and us). She is playing ManHunt with the older girls, rides around in golf carts and jumps on her new trampoline for hours at a time
Most residents in the community have golf carts and frequently visit each other. A lot of neighbors are getting together by the runway Sunday afternoons, just to watch airplanes.
Two days ago, I jumped out of a neighbor's biplane. He got me up to 5000 ft and flew a barrel roll over the field so that I would just fall out when we were upside down. Then I landed right here in our back yard.
Yesterday, I flew in with our friend 'Capt'n' Les in a KingAir C90 and parked it right behind the house.
We'll keep you posted on our progress with the renovation and of course welcome anybody that wants to 'fly' by :-)
Christian, Shelly, Skylar AND Nana
